This outlet drinker will allow you to have fresh water on tap - literally! Simply screw the end into the bung hole of a water storage container (see ours if you are not sure what to use) and presto...your chickens will have a constant supply of water. This is a locally made product so no cheap imitation imported product. The drinker cup is German and of high quality. The plastic join has been handmade so tried and tested. We use a bit of plumbers white tape to make sure the screw in end fits tightly and perfectly but will still function without.
We are really impressed with this unit. When using with a water storage container, make sure you select the darkest colour container possible so that external light does not create much algae in the storage container. Even with our black containers, please rinse out and sterilise with our Exstinct sterilising tablets. This will stop any potential bacteria from affecting the water your precious girls drink. The tablet is dropped into the water and the chlorine dioxide element will kill any harmful pathogen or bacteria. Essential for keeping your flock healthy.
